Nano Tears withdrawn?

Hi all
I have been using Nano Tears eye drops for the past year or two. As I live in New Zealand I bought a few boxes last time I ordered but now I have learnt that they have been withdrawn.
Can anyone tell me why? I have found they give me the best relief but I don/'t want to be using them if there's something wrong with them!
Any advice appreciated.

Nano Tears was produced by a manufacturer in Long Island, NY. They issued a massive recall on many products including Nano-Tears.
