What is the experience with Visine Tears? Does it really matter as opposed to others, e.g., GenTeal?

You may want to use the search function and look at existing forum threads.

Visine uses Benzalkonium Chloride as a preservative for most of its products.

Benzalkonium Chloride causes significant harm to eyes--especially dry eyes.

I used the preservative free Visine vials and was disappointed when I bought them because they were not re-sealable. I used the Tears Naturale preservative free which can be resealed and used for 12 hours.

        Mentioned this before

I have been using the new Visine Pure Tears since they came out right before the trip to Mayo in Dec. This is a preservative free drop in a bottle and I love them. They're so great to stick in a purse, pocket or whatever. So valuable when traveling. The rest of the Visine products are really not good, they all have preservatives I believe. But the Visine Pure Tears are my favorite now. So convenient.

I googled Visine Pure Tears, and I saw that the bottle is exact the same as the one of Hylocomod (Ursapharm). I agree, it's very, very convenient!
