I recall that there has been some discussion of Freshkote here. . .and I must go back to Archives on this. . .I wanted to convey, though, that my eye doc, last week, refused to prescribe it for me, based on anecdotal reports, from her patients, that "dry eye" symptoms were worsened by it. . .I bet that the patients who reported this are not primarily MGD patients, and I, for one, am EAGER to try a lipid replacement that is not paired with mineral oil. . .Dr. Holly's site does not reveal what the mysterious Amisol (trademarked) lipid combo is, except to say that it is, I think, a phospholipid. . .In any case, might Freshkote be destined for the OTC market any time soon?
