Ocumed??

I have just found I have corneal erosions saw that ocumed is supposed to help the healing of the cornea. Wild claim or some truth??? Anyone had any experience? Anyone use it as their artificial tears?
Also, Rebecca - I can't find it on the "goop" list where you outline the ingredients. Do you know anything about it at all? Thanks!

Ocumed is a sodium hyaluronate drop. There are a few of those available in Europe but they are not available in the US as the sodium hyaluronate is not on the FDA's list of ingredients for over-the-counter tears for which individual drug approval is not required.

Like many artificial tears, I know people that like the hyaluronate drops and people that don't find they get any benefit.

Active ingredients

How many different active compounds are used in various drops?
I see Theratears has "Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose". I suppose a lot of drops have the same active compounds, Carbopol being one of them.
