Cleaning clogged up eyedrop bottles

Friends,

Is there any technique to avoid getting a clogged up bottle tip on your drops? The more viscous ones clog up quickly.

I have been sterilizing a safety pin and cleaning out the bottle tip.

Surely somebody has addressed this issue on the site before or has some witty solution? I just can't afford to toss the bottles when there's plenty of eyedrops left in them.

My Muro 128 drops, which I've been using successfully for RCE, is particularly cloggy and is pricey.

I had a visine tip clogged so I used my needle nose pliers to try to take off the top and after moving it back and forth a couple of times it started to work again. I sterilized the top with hot water and alcohol
