Has anyone tried them? I have tried Tears Again(Clarymist in the UK) and like it very much. I dont know anything about Quintess QuSome, but have seen it for sale. Is it also a lipid spray? Is it very similar to Tears Again? Its odd that a product like this hasnt been written about here( or I havent seen it). Any thoughts?

The Quintess QuSome stuff isn't a proper liposomal format - and is lacking in the fundamental active ingredient in Clarymist, Phosphatidylcholine, which is one of the phospholipids excreted by the meibomian glands, and the reason it works. I would be interested if anyone has had some independant experience with it that they can report, but all the info I have been sent/found is negative.
There is also another "me too" product called "Tears Again advanced liposomal eye spray", which if you look at the ingredients lacks any liposome forming components, and instead appears to be made of chelators/binders. This comes about because they are trading with the same trade mark - "Tears Again" is American, but not worldwide, hence Optima using it elsewhere. We couldn't use it in place of Clarymist as for some reason the American mark was held in Ireland... -
I bought Clarymist at Christmas in the UK but I've not tried it yet, I've been putting it off as I don't know much about it yet!just keep swimming...Comment
