  • Problems with Muro 128 bottles

    Dear Gang,

I simply can't keep my Muro 128 eye drop bottle unclogged. I'm assuming that the salt is the culprit.

    Does anyone have any advice?

I have cleaned it out with a safety pin, then boiled the top in water. Repeatedly. This is getting REALLY old.

As the almost new bottle costs me $25, I'm not tossing it out.

Thank you for some advice on this constantly trial.

I would sterilize the needle (or safety pin) first then puncture the crusted mess. I've done that with other eye drops that tend to dry shut. Nothing wrong with boiling the top too, but be sure to sterilize the needle!
