Inspired by a recent conversation between Rojzen and Dr. Holly, I thought I'd begin a thread to ask people how they successfully use Dr. Holly's drops through the day and night.

Here is what made me want to know what everyone is doing. Rojzen said, "In all this, I have been assuming that there is no single best way to use the Dr. Holly drops. . Is that perhaps incorrect? Also, if NutraTears is not high-oncotic, then could it disrupt the benefits of Dwelle/Dakrina, if used along with these?"

I use Dwelle about an hour after I am awake in the morning, often around mid-morning, then again in the late afternoon. About an hour before I go to bed, I put in more drops and then seal up for the night with Genteal Gel and dry Tranquileyes goggles. (Anyway, this is what I have been doing for a week, and it seems to be working. Last month, I was using Dwelle two more times than is listed above.)

    What do you do?

Based on the Holly-Rojzen conversations, I have changed my routine slightly. I've just started to use Dwelle during the day--usually once in the morning. So far the results are good. I had previously tried Dwelle plus TranquilEyes at night, but it didn't work for me. The dryness wakes me up every 1-2 hours and I can't get any decent sleep.

I still use Genteal Gel and TranquilEyes at night---I seem to require A LOT of moisture.

I haven't been using NutraTear much lately. It seems to irritate my eyes and adds to the gunk---even more than Dwelle does.

I haven't given Dakrina a good trial. It felt very irritating to my eyes.

Wow, we are all so different! I get lots of hard gunk with Dwelle, but none at all with NutraTear. The hard gunk is mainly the drops drying on the lashes and then i can just crumble it off. If I take care, I should take a wet tissue and wipe my lashes after instilling Dwelle.

I have no rhyme or reason as to how I use the drops, but favor NutraTear most of the time. I also have TheraTears PF vials on hand and use them periodically.
