  • dakrina and sand-in-eye feeling.

I tried dakrina for the first time today, and while the stinging wasn't unexpected, it also felt extremely uncomfortable, like the feeling of sand in my eyes. I'm pretty sure my eye wasn't horribly dry when I used it, and I know I didn't scratch anything because I use an eyedrop guide.

Is this normal? Will it go away, given time?

When I use Dakrina, I feel like there is something in my eye for a few minutes. It's not painful it's more like a thick substance that blurs my vision briefly. After a few minutes, it smoothes out over the surface of my eye, and my vision becomes very clear. The initial feeling that something is floating on the eye surface may be from the vitamin A that Dakrina contains, but once the drops set up, it always goes away.
