I work in an optical store and one of the reps just brought in a new product from Systane. It is called Systane Ultra. Not sure if it works better than traditional Systane but may be an option for some dry eye patients out there. Thought I would share the news.

I use it 3x a day as prescribed by my doctor. It is great! Wish I could use it more but because of the preservative it's not recommended. It lasts so long and is so comforting. It's a great drop!Jenny -

I have a bottle of this stuff. I really like it because it feels really soothing........I think I've mentioned it before. It is the ONLY drop that calms my eyes when I've had a crying bout. Some days I use it more often than I should I'm sure. It's hard to know about the preservatives. Like Dr. Holly says his drops can be used all day long -- not a problem.
Dreaming of a day when I don't need to think so much about eye drops
