  • Viscotears liquid gel

    Is viscotears liquid gel only available in the UK?
    I would be interested in trying it at night ---
    Have you folks in US got an equivelent - ?
    It is'nt listed in the directory of drops gels & ointments
    What is anyones experience with this gel?

    Also i think it must be preservative free
    Ingedients = carbomer 2mgs/g; cetrimide 0.1mgs/g ;sorbitol;sodium hydroxide;water
    These sound OK and pf --- the certrimide i think is antiseptic

    Also i wonder if the Lumercare long lasting gel (advertised on the new UK site called lumecare) is the same thing

    Any one any answers ? I would be interested to hear from you
    Thanks
    Stella

    I've used both the tube version and the PF vials,one of the better drops i've used,it gave me some measure of relief.

      Hi Stella!

      I've use viscotears at the beginning of my troubles, and they were OK, but not billiant. I got on better with Celluvisc, but the best one so far, without doubt, for me, is Systane.
