  • Going to boston to try kineret eye drops

Hey, I have read on this forum about kineret eye drops currently under clinical trials for dry eye. Dr Dana at the boston Mass and eye can prescribe them to patients out of the trial.

The people who have tried them- what was the out come?

They are supposed to be aimed at MGD and inflammation- i have both.

Im back at the point where i feel i need improvement in my eyes to be happy again. Im sad that i am back at this point because i had found a comfortable place when i got married and i had accepted my current state of eye pain and i was doing very good. Now im not with him anymore I just dont feel I will ever meet anyone or get my life back if i cant get any improvement in my eyes. Ive had severe dry eye for 8 years now with barlely any improvement so im not holding my breath, but i keep trying. Im currently on restasis, doxy, allegra and lotemax... also trying to avoid perfume (because i have some allergies there) not sure if its making a difference, AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO AVOID when you work with the general public!!!!

I have good health insurance due to my job so im taking advantage of that right now. I wont get to try these drops in the UK.
I healed my dry eye with nutrition and detoxification. I'm now a Nutritional Therapist at: www.nourishbalanceheal.com Join my dry eye facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/420821978111328/

Yes, they help. I have been on them. I want to take them forever but am nervous because I think they are still in clinical trials. The doctor told me he puts patients on them for 3 months. When I asked if I could take them forever he said potentially. PM me if you want more info. Insuarnce won't cover the drops. You are looking at 160 out of pocket each month but worth it fo rme. Next time I see the doctor I am going to ask about long term use and get all possible side effects. The doctor that uses them does give you his email and does email back.
