Video on Lacritin

Here is a video presentation I stumbled across regarding Lacritin research. They say there is a 40% increase of tear production in rabbits! I hope it proves well and safe for humans. Lets hope for a speedy and successful studies, clinical trials, and FDA approvals.

My doctor-Dr. Foulks told me on my last visit that he hopes there may be a new drug on the market to make tears in about a year from now--he said there is something but it is hard to get it FDA approved--it is something I believe he has had a hand in w/ research..

It would be interesting to know if that stuff helps MGD folks as well. Sounds like a somewhat superior restasis to me - targeted at increasing aqueous tear production.
