Acular LS and Tap Water

I have a sample of Acular from the doc and it works fairly well. However, it gives me temporary burning and intense itching. Is this the same for anyone else?

Also, when I wash my face, I get burning eyes and redness if I even get a little bit of water in my eye. Is this a PH thing? At first I thought it was soap but it doesn't matter how much I rinse my eyes, they burn quite a bit after a face wash.

how long have you been on it, is it still helping you? is acular okay for long term use, i'm picking up a prescription for it but i can't find much about it online, the one thing i did find said it shouldn't be used for more than two weeks, is that true?
