  • Lecrolyn/Lomudal vs Opatanol

    I noticed that my eyes feel better when using Opatanol. However, i want to avoid putting BAK and other preservations in my eyes so i switched to Lomudal (also called Lecrolyn) without preservation. Unfortunately Lomudal dried out my eyes completely. I switched back to opatanol and my eyes feel better again. Does anyone have the same experience? Is there any difference in the active ingredients of the two drops, natriumkromoglikat respective olopatadine?

    Hej,
    natriumkromoglikat = sodium chromoglicate.
    they have different names here in France I believe NAABAK but I must admit I don't like them either but I know some people like them. I prefer Zaditen.

    Olopatadine is probably a very good molecule but Alcon doesn't get it that with BAK is a complete non-sense for allergy sufferers.

    Don't forget to sign our petition in Swedish in order to convince labs to produce antihistamincs without BAK
