What have been your experiences with various types of punctal plugs?

smart plugs didnt work for me.. as soon as they were inserted i was still 'bone ' dry.. i have one umbrella plug and have had cautery on another duct.. i prefer umbrella plugs..they hold more moisture in for me.. not sure what brand tho...its trial and error. good luck
