I have 4 cauterized puncta, have been using Restasis and doxycycline, doing acupuncture 1x per week, plus taking a lot of Omega-3s and other vitamins for severe dry eye and mgd, and after 5 months of a lot of pain and problems I think I am SLOWLY getting better. My left eye is the problem eye that burns so much all the time, and in this upper eyelid, if I push on it or rub it, I can hear (and feel) some juices squeaking around. It is pretty loud, to where my kids and husband can hear it, think it is gross and beg me not to do it. Meanwhile, the right eye will not do that. I can't hear or feel the squeak if I rub on the right eye (and this is the one that feels fine).
What do you think this squeak is? Built up lipids that are stuck in my left eye and won't come out? I just want this pain to go away!!! As do all of you
