cauterization better than plugs?

Hi,

I am Sabine, and I have very severe DES, I have all four puncta plugged. (caused by lasik) Right eye is wet enough but my left eye is still dry. I heard that cauterization would be more effective??? Can anyone help me out? Because it's hard to live with two different eyes. I have a lot of headaches and other pains.( I also have a quality problem)

There are many discussions about cauterization, plugs, and comparisons between the two. I would suggest you search the forum using words like "cautery" and "cauterization."
