I was even theorizing to myself yesterday (after reading your comment on size) that maybe my tiny puncta have already been acting as a sort of semi-plug--allowing me to wear contacts even though my eyes are very dry (2mm Schirmer's).
These Parasol plugs seem to being working really well. I wore my contacts with them yesterday and noticed about a 20% improvement in the hydration of the lenses during the course of a full day's wear, and my eyes didn't get so irritated in all the stores I went to.
