Is this "normal"?

Hey all,

I got lower plugs yesterday and I have real problems with them. My eyes are so inflamed and blood shot, they hurt so much. I don't know if this is "normal". Can anybody please tell me cause I don't know what to do (doctors have closed on weekends).

What kind of plugs do you have? I had some discomfort like what you describe for a few days after I got my plugs put in, then the discomfort went away. There is a bit of trauma involved when putting the plugs into the puncta. That causes an inflammatory response. Have you tried some cool compresses?
