Hi Kyle,
I had Herrick's put in my lower puncti (left and right) Dec. 2001. The plug is gone from my right eye and the plug in my left eye migrated to somewhere in the canal. I have had no additional punctal plugs even though I wanted them. That was the reason for my visit to an ophthalmologist in March 2004 - I wanted plugs. The doc would not put another plug in my left eye once he determined (by flushing my ducts) that the first one was still there albeit not where it was supposed to be. My right eye is nowhere near as bothersome as the left so we decided to not plug it.
Cindy, what do you have now in your eyes? Another plug?
