Hey Gang,
Question 1: Is it possible for cautery to provide more of a benefit than plugs?
Question 2: Last weekend I was doing a lid massage and the hubcap plug in my lower left tear duct partially popped out. I reinserted it but I guess I pushed too hard b/c the plug went completely into my tear duct. How bad is this and can it be retreived or washed out easily? I have an appointment with opthalmologist on Thursday to ask about this and cautery. The eye that has the submerged plug has been much drier than usual since the incident. Please advise...
P.S. I have intracannicular plugs in both top ducts.
Thanks, DN
