Plugs and lid hygiene

Hi all,
I had 90-day plugs inserted into my lower puncta today. I have MGD, so I do hot compresses and lid scrubs every day. Is it okay to keep doing this now that I have plugs, or will the compresses/lid massages make the plugs fall out? Thanks!

your plugs shouldn't fall out from doing compresses. just be careful-the glands are not right up to the tear ducts anyway, so there is no reason to massage that close to the tear duct..
