How long time before it starts working?

I am thinking about one plug in each eye.
Does it work immediently or need the eyes time to adopt or something? I've heard some people say it stings for some weeks..?!

You'll likely notice it immediately. I wouldn't say they sting really, not on me anyways. If its the kind that "sticks out" you might feel it some. That said, having only lowers plugged never did a whole lot for me tear quantity wise.

Plugs have saved me!!! I like the "permanent" ones ... of course they can be easily removed but they don't dissolve. They really keep the tears in-I felt immediate relief and no discomfort when getting them put in or after.. You should try them from a doctor you trust.. Even your optometrist can put them in..Good luck!
