I wanted to have my eyes plugged, but the doctor said that I was not that serious. I would like to know when it is necessary to use plugs? What's the schirmer's result?

I have done the schirmer tests for 3 times. They are totally different. One time is about 10, and then more than 20, and then 15. I think it has something to do with the method or body condition. Maybe the paper causes more tear. However, every time the doctor said it didn't need plugs. They said my case is a evaporate dry eye. I don't really understand.Comment
