  • Restasis and Laciserts

Does anyone know if this is contra indicated combination? Anyone using both of these now?
I plan on asking for the Laciserts at my next doctor visit.
    Thanks in advance.

The only interaction bewteen the two should be due to the fact that the Lacrisert coat the eye with a liquid film, and whether or not Restasis can penetrate it efficiently is not known to me.

You need to ask a doctor about this.

      Lacrisert and Restassis Together

My opthamalogist prescribed both together. For me the lacriserts really help although getting them to stay in your lower lid can be tricky. I found that if you follow the directions carefully they will stay put. After inserting the lacrisert you need to continue to pull out your lower lid and look down as far as you can and then release the lid.
