I'm curious to know how Restatis user apply their drops? My doctor's office instructed me to pull down on my lower lid and apply a single drop into the lid. While Restasis has been very effective for me, I sometimes worry about pulling on the sensitive skin of the lid. Does anyone else apply theirs any differently? Wondering if there are any consequences to just applying like a regular eye drop.

I don't use Restasis, so I'm not prepared to speak to the specifics of how to use that drop.
That being said, I’m writing to say that on our sister-site, LaserMyEye, we had a discussion in 2005 about how best to instill eyedrops.
http://www.lasermyeye.org/forums/showthread.php?t=789
From my reply on that thread: “What I was originally doing: tilting my head way back and letting the drops fall into my eyes (yes, I know, not everybody can even do that), so that they ended up running down my cheeks. What the new doc said: if eyedrops are running down your cheeks they are not doing their job in your eyes! He recommended . . . to look straight ahead, pull the lower lid down enough to form a pocket (my doc's word was cup) and fill the cup. Then close my eyes for a few seconds. After which, blink, blink, blink. Learn to 'fill the cup' without overdosing (which is a waste of the drops).”
I also learned subsequently that, while keeping my eyes closed, it is useful to hold my fingers against the bottom corners of my eyes nearest my nose for a few seconds --
the goal being to prevent the drops from draining out of the bottom puncti too quickly, before doing the "blink, blink, blink."
The technique has worked for me ever since.
