Restasis and MGD

I was diagnosed with blepharitis (MGD) over a year ago and have basically tried everything to allievate the horrific symptoms. I've tried azasite, alrex, zylet, fml ointment, erthromycin, doxycycline..you name it I probably tried it and nothing has worked. I just recently started seeing a new eye doc that prescribed me lotemax and restasis. I definetly have felt a difference in the normal dryness of my eyes but my main symptom is defintely the unsightly swelling which hasn't changed at all. Has anyone else had a decrease in the swelling with using restasis? I'm just wondering if the inflammation will eventually decrease or will I be stuck like this forever?

I used the same combination. I used the lotemax for approximately two weeks and then just the restasis for seven months when I was able to wean myself off of it. I did notice a difference in the swelling and purple lines on the lids as time went on. I also used cold compresses to bring down the swelling.
