  • Any one use DIQUAS ?

    http://dryeyedigest.blogspot.tw/2010...-in-japan.html
It's not cyclosporin, but it's also a drug for increasing tear production.
Had anyone used it ? How is it work ?
I' really desperate now and I think I would try whatever which may give me hope about my dry eye!!

i say try it if you can get a hold of it. It sounds like it didn't get approved because it wasn't safe they just thought it wasn't effective.

I saw that it is not allowed by FDA but is launched in Japan, I think I have to find more information and survey about this drug.
      Thanks for your reply, Tanner.

        Hi Carol,

I would highly recommend that you RUN to a store to buy moisture chamber glasses such as WileyX or 7Eye.

You can read more about moisture chambers here: http://www.dryeyezone.com/encyclopedia/eyewear.html

And Rebecca put together a cheat sheet: http://www.dryeyezone.com/talk/showt...shopping-guide

I looked up some info. There is a WileyX dealer in Japan (the closest I could find - and you did mention you were travelling there):
        ATOMIC STORE
        3 -17-14, MAEKAWA
        KAWAGUCHI-SHI
        SAITAMA 333-0842 JAPAN
        81-48-269-2489
        81-48-269-2489 (FAX)
        YUKI TSUCHIGAMA
        E-MAIL info@asii.jp
And there is a 7Eye dealer in Japan: http://www.7eye.com/Dealer-Locator/

        Japan: (81)-256-39-01775 espositoc@eande-ltd.com
There is also great info on The Dry Eye Zone homepage: http://www.dryeyezone.com/.
For example, you can read about treatment options, pain management, and travelling with dry eyes.

        Good luck.

Im going to try Kinerette drops at the boston mass eye and ear, they are under clinical trials.. That might be something to try. Im like you desperate for relief! Dr Dana can prescribe them.
