Restasis

I have been on restasis for almost a year. After about 3 months I seemed to start producing more tears. And then for the next 5 months things were great. The boom it seemed like ti stopeed working. has anyone experienced this before. I am not sure why it just stopped working ??

I have just stopped Restasis after being on it for a year and a bit. Not sure how much it was helping my symptoms.

Anyway, I've read a fair amount of patient reviews on Restasis, and what you're describing seems to be a common thing.
One theory is that the body adjusts to the medication after time, making it no longer effective.

i have also observed the same.It works for the time i put it in.But it doesnt solve underlying problem of non production of tears.It gives symptomatic relief only.
