I don't know if anyone has ever mentioned this on DEZ, but I was just now reading something that I found really interesting concerning SLK and Restasis.
I know a lot of people here have tried Restasis for dry eye and have found it unbearable. I have SLK/dry eye and have used Restasis for four years now. So far, I have never had any problems with Restasis and have been grateful for how much it has helped my eyes.
I just now read a small article that was about a study that was conducted last year on the affects of Restasis on people with SLK. It says that all patients eyes improved a great deal within two weeks.
Do y'all think that Restasis could possibly be better for someone with SLK than dry eye? I just find it interesting that no one in the study (all people with SLK) had problems with Restasis, while a great deal of people with just dry eye seem unable to tolerate Restasis. Here is a link:
