I've just been prescribed fml twice a day for three months. Seems like a long time to me.

Any thoughts from anyone on this or personal experiences with fml to share?

I'd really appreciate any comments.

Hi

I was on FML for 3 weeks and it did reduce inflammation. My eye consultant ruled out 'long term use' (whatever that is defined as) as being potentially dangerous.

3 months seems long to me - but hey I'm no doctor

Also it contains benzalkonium chloride which was the cause of my DES in the first place - I would be very cautious putting BAK into my eyes for an extended period of time.
