  • Azasite compounded

Has anyone compounded AzaSite? Leiters does a .2% Azithromycin solution but Azasite has 1%. I am trying to avoid using AzaSite as it contains BAK. Also, any info on dosing schedules would be grealy appreciated.

    Thanks.

Not only that but it wouldn't contain the durasite vehicle.

I don't get this either- maybe a different pharmacy compounds it or maybe the very limited exposure to it is not detrimental?

I would imagine it would have to be prescribed right but from what I have gathered that is how the experts feel.

I would assume it akin to how drops like optive and freshkote are fine as long as you don't use them more than every 4 hours.

Which is it? Is it what you know or who you know? Or is it how well you convey what you know to who you know it to?
