Does Scleral Lenses protect against the wind ? Not sure what these are meant to do?
Can someone tell me do they protect and cover the full eye? (whites and all)?
They protect the cornea from the wind. But there's still the top surface of the lens and the undersides of the lids to worry about. A lot of us that wear the lenses still need protective eyewear outdoors, in wind, and in those awful stores with air blowing around & fluorescent lighting.

They completely cover the cornea and they cover part of the scleral (white of the eye). They're designed to provide a liquid layer over the entire cornea for a variety of reasons, whether for vision correction or for treating ocular surface diseases.
