  • prose and eye pressure

    Hello all prose wearers
I have a serious question to all of you.

I have been wearing the prose lenses for past 4mnths.
Recently i have been detected with eye pressure increased to 30(normal shud be between 10 and 20)

I never had this problem in my history of 23years or sjs.
Has anyone info whether prose has anything to do with the pressure?Wearing lense gives reverse pressure to the eye and accordingly eye increases its pressure?anything like it would happen?
    Plz guide im very tensed.
Really need to be a ROCK to take the pain!

    hirentherock,

Typically, PROSE devices do not directly affect intraocular pressure, unless a patient has a history of surgery for glaucoma. If you are concerned, we recommend that you check with your local PROSE provider.

Here's a link to PROSE treatment providers so you can find the one closest to you: http://www.bostonsight.org/PROSE-pro.../Find-a-Clinic. Hope that helps!

    Wishing you well,

    Janice
