I'm becoming desperate. My dry eye has become so bad I'm pretty much no longer able to wear my rgp lenses at all. Have complex vision and glasses leave me with distorted vision. It's difficult to function normally including work - so I want to get sclerals asap.
I might be eligible for sclerals on the NHS (I'm in the UK) but my area has fairly long waiting lists. And I'm running out of money - and want to get back to working asap.
I've found somewhere close to me that does mini sclerals. They seem much cheaper than the cost of proper/full-size sclerals. Several hundred pounds, and I've seen that larger sclerals cost way more?
Money is so tight I don't want to make a false economy. Have people here had any success with mini sclerals?
