Plungers!

Took four months, but today I was able to insert both of my sclerals with only a plunger - no battery/light device necessary. Thankful for small victories. This feels like much more of an accomplishment than you might think!

I would consider that a HUGE accomplishment!

Sclerals are starting to sound like my last option but I'm nervous about the intial fitting process, insertion and removal (seems to be hardest for everyone) and cost of course.

Well done Rob, I'm glad you're gaining comfort with the lenses. It seems like those who are motivated enough to make as many trips as needed for a good fit and giving them an earnest try get a payoff. Great to hear you are doing so well with them...
