For once some HAPPY HAPPY news!!!!!
Last week, I had a clear contact-like bandage put over my cornea in both eyes. Today, I went to my wonderful lady specialist and she removed the clear contact-like bandage from my eyes. She throughly checked my eyes and the cornea damage was so so much better and the dry eye has improved too!. Plus my vision is better!!!! She installed new ones in both eyes to help repair more of the dry eye problems and the cornea abrasions!!!! I will be rechecked again in a week!!!!!

So far, so good!!! If this helped me - MAYBE - this could help others out in the Dry Eye Tallk Zone too!

Is it a comtact lense? a boston lense kid of thing?

seems like some sort of boston scleral lens.
aren't they meant to wear for a longer period than just a week?

Hello again! I was told that this is clear bandage with no vision correction which covers the eye and it is left in the eye for 7 to 10 days. The covering was shown to me. It is a very thin covering, looks like a soft contact but it is much bigger.

And it has helped my eyes! Hugs to all, DJ

Give me some more details what actually they have put in ur eyes?
Its a surgical process? Or just a contact lense which u have to wear in and out daily?If u cannot explain much, kindly find a link on google and paste it here.
