Floxacillin

Hi - a long time since I have been on here but just thought i would share some little success, despite a bigger battle still to win. I finally seem to have had some moderate success with my eyelids. I got that puffy swollen eyelid condition consistently, along with the the dry eye and the vicious cycle that that is. I went to about my 7th opthalmologist and he put me on a course of antibiotics (floxacillin) for 3 months. Seems to have brought the lids under control. It is not normally prescribed for eyelids and more for skin conditions but seems to have worked. And the length of the course is also quite long. It's nothing special, it's just a basic antibiotic taken by people who might be allergic to penicillan (even though I am not) but he specifically prescribed it. Hope this is useful to someone out there

Hi did you get inflamed inner eyelids? and MGD.

I have bad inflamed inner eyelids but nothing seems to help it.
