  • IPL may help dry eye

I just found this video on WebMD. It was interesting describing a help in the dry eye fight. It's called IPL and it looks to be non-evasive and helpful for the long term. I have no idea if this is expensive or not. The video can be accessed here. I don't know of any doctors in my neck of the woods that do this procedure but maybe you do. Has anyone tried this? Did it help?

    Hi Eggman,
There was a lot of interest in IPL on this forum a few months ago. I have had 5 Ipl treatments now and my 6th and final one for a while is coming up in about a week. I have to say I'm doing much better-the real test wil be when I'm not having IPl and gland expression on a monthly basis. But for now, it's really helped improve my tear film, lessened the need for drops greatly and allowed me to get out of the house and do things without being aware of and in pain from my eyes.
