  • Farm raised organic Ghee

I don't know if I would call this a Triumph, but it has helped nonetheless.
I have under functioning meibomian glands. They are not obstructed or inflamed.
The Ghee seems to be helping when rubbed on eyelids and lashes (not trying to get it in my eye), used as like an eye moisturizer. I am using the Organic Grass Fed Ghee.

I have an idea about how this is working by contributing essential lipids and lipid precursors for tear production, and or just the effect of saturated fats on maintenance of tear glands.

Either way, it works better than Restasis.

I am just interested in seeing what others think about this... I am not affiliated with the Ghee company i referenced, its just cause its the one I am using and people might want to try it.

I have under functioning melbomian glands either, without signs of inflammation or obstructions (two doctors expressed my eyelids and told me there was less oil flowing than would be normal.

I've tried coconut oil and ghee (in a ayurveda tarpanam session). The didn't help, bt both had contat with my eyes.
