update from me! still using these and happy to recommend them. i dont use them in the day anymore as i don't feel i need them (they make my eyes sticky) but i used them now before bed half an hour before i add oil and after my hot compress. if i forget my honey drops i notice the next day my eyes are more puffy and more likely to stick together.
i brought them to my NHS ophthalmologist a month ago as i was interested on his thoughts. he was very animated as he said they use honey for some wounds in the hospital but then he told me (after looking on this computer) they are still doing trails to see if this type actually works for dry eye, but he thinks in theory i could be a good treatment. the main reason i wanted to talk to him about it though was because i have plugs and i wanted to be dure these wouldn't some how block them! he said it should be the other way around. (not sure what he means by this but since i had a max for 7 mins to see him, i didnt get time to ask) hope this helps!
