Trader Joes tea tree oil wash, just a pea size amount rubbed onto my eyelids with closed eyes once in the morning and once at night has cured my dry eye issues. I used to have red uncomfortable eyes I had lasik more than ten years ago I had tried many brands of preservative artificial eye drops even doctor office only eye drops. Cliradex stings so i tried trader joes tea tree shampoo with my eyes closed, softly applied across my eyelids closed, letting the suds sit along my eyelids for a minute before rinsing off in the shower or over my bathroom sink every morning and night. There are wipes called Blepadex which also have tea tree but i prefer the ease of just washing my eyelids and splashing to rinse off without disposing individual wrappers and wipes which probably do not biodegrade. Trader joes tea tree wash shampoo cured my dry eye pain redness sticky eyes and a large bottle costs less than five dollars plus the shampoo has not damaged my lashes and side benefits of oil control on my forehead and nose chin area. I googled this and dermatologists know tea tree oil benefits oily seborrhea skin and helps with keeping pores clean. Amazing discovery for me and i hope this helps others. ( to clarfy the Trader Joes tea tree “face” wash did not work. The Trader Joes Tea Tree shampoo works for my eyelids.)

I have been using Trader Joe's tea trea face wash as well as the Tea Trea Conditioner, because I like the scent (but not the shampoo). I notice the tea tree face wash has really cleared up the redness/lesions on my nose and face, which may be associated with rocacea. However I'm not sure it's helped my eyes... actually that stuff stings if I get it into the eye, I'm surprised you're able to avoid eye contact? I'm glad it's helped you. Maybe I'll give the shampoo a try.

When I saw my new specialist/doc he got me straight on his blepharitis treatments.
