Virgin coldpressed coconut oil

Hi!

I've been posting here now and then about my more or less elaborate experiments trying to treat my post-lasik dry eye. Recently I've been using cold pressed, virgin coconut oil, I just apply it on the eyelids and the skin around the eyes and it finds its way into the eyes. I think there might be other posts on the forum about this, but just wanted to throw it out, since I experience extraordinary relief. I emailed a dry eye specialist, Pedram Hamrah at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, he had heard about it before, but didn't know anything about the safety.

However, I wanted you to know, last days I started to look upon my life in a long term perspective again - maybe I will be able to travel, make long term plans, etc, which have felt impossible the last years with my condition.

Do you put this on at night before bed or in the morning? Do you use restasis or anything else?

I had tried it almost two than a year ago. Perhaps i put too much.

Actually makes my eyes worse.
