  • From severe to mild dry eyes within 2 days

My name is Alex and I underwent eye laser surgery (method PRK), back in 2019. I did it, cause I could not wear
contact lenses anymore. They would stick
to my eyes and my eyes got dry.

Before PRK, I never used eye drops daily, but after surgery I required eye drops 3 times a day till the end of 2021.
Well, at the beginning of 2021
I moved to a new room in a shared apartment, which is only 9 m² big.
My eyes got drier and drier each month. From the beginning of 2022 to June 2023, I required to drop
6 times Hylogel and 4 times Evotears and Artelac nighttime gel during the night, with no improvement.

In 2022, I did IPL, and in March 2023, I started using Cyclosporine eye drops and in June 2023, I started using
    Autologous serum drops
replacing Hylogel and still need the Evotears. IPL and Cyclosporine gave me minor, or
    really little improvement.
And for Autologous serum drops, it is early to comment.

I never really realized, that I was living in a tiny, dry, dusty room with many furniture and a little place.
I spent a lot of time inside
the room, during 2021 and 2022. In June I started to keep the door of my room half open
    and put my
desk near the half-open door. Within 2 days the irritation is gone and my dry eyes are getting better.
The environment plays a crucial role when it comes to dry eyes.
