  • What's the latest on Dr ****** MG probing?

I am considering having the probing done by Dr ******. I've read posts about Dr ******, and the procedure, on this forum. But, there isn't much new information. I would like to get as much information as possible from people who have had it done before I make my decision. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had it done regarding results, cost, etc., etc.

    Thanks!

Maybe some people have a problem with writing their experience on the board, but they can send you a PM if they have some info to give you. That way it stays private. I hope you get the info you're looking for. Lucy

      Dr. ****** cured me

After finally being referred to UCLA's eye institute, I was told I needed the probing procedure, but they wouldn't have it ready till March 2001. In December 2009 I went to Dr. ****** to have the procedure as I was much to uncomfortable to wait till March. .On my first visit ( I had seen other drs. several times). Dr. ****** told me I did not need the procedure - my problem was actually extra tissue that had developed on both corneas. He operated and removed the tissue and I am completely better. I would trust anything Dr. ****** recommends. If I hadn't seen him I would have had the procedure at ucla in march and in my case it wouldn't have helped. So whether you really do need the procedure or something else is wrong, it is well worth the trip to see Dr. ******
