  • --How do I find a doctor specialized in the treatment of blepharitis?

As my DES is caused by blepharitis I'd like to find a doctor who's specialized in bleph. Aside from an ophthalmologist, should I see a dermatologist or a doctor trained in allergies and infectious diseases?

I don't think there are doctors who only specialize in blepharitis. Only doctors that specialize in dry eye. Although bleph and dry eye usually go hand in hand.

      Ophthalmology - dermatology - allergist

But I am finding that the dermatologists will not treat the face with serious eye involvement 'the ophthalmologists treat this', which to be fair they cannot, and so we fall between the disciplines and research programmes.

Hi Ariel, the treatment for mgd is :

        Doxy
        Warm compress
        IPL
Diet (no sugar, because sugar inflammed the body)
        Ciclosporine
        Corticoid short period
        Antiallergie
        Autolog serum

And i try in this Time : http://www.ophtadirect.be/fr/produit...on-du-produit/

I think at this Time there isnt another treatment or med wich can treat this condition.

I can give you a name of a french doctor in Paris who treat dry eyes if you want. It's a very good doc.
