Restasis and Plugs

I have been using Restasis for a little over 3 months and had punctal plugs placed in my lower ducts about three weeks ago. While I have had some minimal improvement, I am still not better. Is this as good as it will get with these treatments or is it possible that it may improve more since the doctors have said it may take 6 months for the full effects of Restasis? Is it typical for Restasis to take up to 6 months? Has anyone out there had any experience with this that could give me some insight?

I used restasis for 7 months, and then I was able to wean myself off of it. I do not use any drops. Things aren't perfect, but most days are pretty good. Keep using it; it may take the full 6 months to get the inflammation down as it did in my case.
