I've had MGD for about three years. At this point,I can't tell if my eyelids are chronically inflamed, or If they've actually thickened over time. Or maybe a bit of both..any thoughts?

I'd like to hear what others say as well about this. I have this continued problem, although mine seem to flare up at times and then go back down, but it tends to take months. I don't know what causes it and I'd like to figure out how to fight it so that it doesn't take so long to get back to functioning. When my upper lids get thickened/swollen I can't do anything but stay at home. -
I experience the same thing. Sometimes it seems to get a tad better and then sometimes worse. I usually won't leave the house without a hat or a hood most days.
