new Need Help Suppport in Calif.

I am new to Dry Eye Talk,after deseratley trying to figure out for month along with my Doctors what is going on. I have sjogrens and am familar with dry eyes, but the last 5 months I have been severly affected. Stared with red painfuly dry eyes to being told I have divets on my cornea? Is the erosion? I was also told to put hot compress on daily 'to try to open clogged oil glands" The last visit to a cornea specialist, he put a contact lens on one eye and says come back in a week.This is consuming my life. I have even began to panic when I think I will always be like this, Bllurred vision, painful red eyes....I can barely see the computor screen, driving is a joke. I am confused and not sure what else to do, where to turn. Living in the San Fransico bay area I'd think I could fnd help..I work for an tohomologist who realy doesnt know what to do.

I hope you find a good ophthalmologist with better communication skills than the ones you have seen. This condition is frustrating enough without having to deal with the one-word answers - or no answers, that we often get.
